Milivoje Pićurić, composer from Podgorica, studied composition in Cetinje in the class of prof. Žarko Mirković, Ljubljana in the class of prof. Pavel Mihelčič and Belgrade in the class of prof. Srđan Hofman where he completed his master degree. His work to date includes compositions for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, choral and orchestral compositions. Suite for Piano, Pezzo concertante for piano and orchestra, Nocturne for solo violin, string orchestra and electronics and Intro for Titex concert, stand out among them. Compositions have been performed on many concerts and festivals in the country and abroad (Serbia, Austria, Albania, Russia, Slovenia), also recorded for television and radio and some of them have been printed and published. He is member of several Montenegrin music groups with which he has performed and recorded jazz, alternative and experimental music for many years. With Montenegrin Youth Orchestra he had numerous premiers of his works and the works of contemporary composers, wich he also conducted. In the field of applied music he worked for theater and film. He is also involved in music pedagogy as a professor at a music school "Vasa Pavić" in Podgorica.
