Tibor Mihelič Syed joined Mladinsko Theatre in 2007. He has been a Managing Director of this acclaimed, eccentric and internationally best-known Slovenian theatre for the past seven years. He started in PR and later worked as an assistant director and executive producer. Before joining Mladinsko Theatre he occupied the post of the Head of Promotion Projects in the field of humanities, cultural-educational and theatrical-dance programmes in Cankarjev dom, Slovenia's biggest Cultural and Congress Centre.
He is also a musician – bass guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and, to a lesser extent, music producer. As a musician, composer and co-producer he has recorded more than 15 released records and co-established some of Slovenia's best-known bands, like Katalena, The Puzzled, Miusow Quartet, Niowt, There Lived a Man, Fourmore Quartet, and has composed music for choreographers and theatre directors, such as Edward Clug, Branko Potočan, Matjaž Pograjc, Jure Novak.
