MARTINA JEMBRIŠAK (born 1995) is a Croatian accordionist, producer, and music manager. In 2020, she was awarded the Ivo Vuljević Prize, which is given to the best young Croatian musician of the year. Martina obtained a degree in Concert Performance at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in Germany, as well as postgraduate studies in Music Management and a Master of Music in Accordion from the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

 

She has performed at numerous venues around the world, including the Hong Kong Contemporary Music Festival, CSO Ada Ankara, Altes Rathaus Vienna, Konzerthaus Detmold, Dushanbe Opera House, Arena Zagreb, Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, Kaunas State Philharmonic, RTV Slovenia, Oekolampad Basel, Kiev Composers Society, Routh Hall in Bromsgrove, and festivals such as Carniarmonie, Nei Suoni Dei Luoghi, Mittel fest, and Akordeono festivalis Vilnius.

 

Martina has also given lectures at the University of the Arts Zurich (Switzerland), Mykola Lysenko Music Academy in Lutsk (Ukraine), Euphonia Festival (Novi Sad), and The Arc Festival York (UK). She has performed with several renowned orchestras, including the Croatian Radio Television Symphony Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Soloists, Junge Sinfoniker Basel, Fryderyk Chopin University Orchestra, and Chopin University Modern Ensemble.
