DUŠAN OBRENOVIĆ completed his education at the Vasa Pavić Secondary Music School in Podgorica under the guidance of Professor Marko Simović. He further pursued his undergraduate and master's studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where he studied under the tutelage of Professor Miroslav Pavlović. Currently, he is enrolled in doctoral studies at the same institution under the supervision of Professor Mihal Budinski.

 

Dušan has received recognition for his talent, having won first and second prizes in numerous competitions, including the Pjetër Gaci Competition in Shkodra, the Golden Stairs String Festival in Valjevo, and the Montenegrin Youth Music Festival in Herceg Novi and Podgorica. He has also attended several masterclasses led by renowned violinists such as Stefan Milenkovich, Sreten Krstić, Vili Ferdinandi, Vujadin Krivokapić, Benjamin Ziervogel, and Sándor Galgóczi. Furthermore, he has participated in the Summer Camp of Chamber Music and Orchestra, where he was under the guidance of conductors Elizabeth Atl, Thomas Post, Jean-Michel Despin, and maestro Sreten Krstić.

 

Dušan has collaborated with several distinguished musicians, including Stefan Milenković, Sreten Krstić, Pacho Flores, Kemal Gekić, Irena Josifoska, Diana Adamyan, and Dmitry Prokofiev, and has performed in various projects and concerts. He has also participated in El Sistema projects in Belgrade and performed at concerts organized by KotorArt, the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, the Montenegrin Youth Orchestra, the Western Balkans Youth Orchestra, and the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra.
