ARIAN ZHERKA was born in Gjakova in 1996. He started his cello lessons at the age of 12 in the music school ‘’Prenke Jakova’’ in Gjakova, where he completed his primary and high school education. He continued his studies at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina” - Faculty of Arts, where he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance.


Arian has performed in numerous concerts, including concerts with “Kosovo Youth Orchestra”, “Pirolo Chamber Orchestra, “Symphonic Orchestra of Gjakova”, and “Fames Orchestra”. He has also participated in various festivals in Kosovo, such as ‘’Dam Festival’’, Chopin Fest’’, KamerFest’’, and “ReMusica”.


He has received cello masterclasses from renowned professors such as Niels Ullner, Michal Kanka, Joanna Sachryn, Kian Soltani, Denis Shapovalov, and Andreas Brantelid. Currently, Arian is a cello teacher at the music school “Prenk Jakova” in Gjakova and has been a member of the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra since 2015.
