ALENKA BOGATAJ is a Slovenian flutist who graduated with distinction from the Royal College of Music in London and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. During her studies, she was a recipient of the RCM Scholarship, generously supported by the Elizabeth Marry Morgan Award, Pidem Foundation, and the Slovenian Cultural Government. Currently, she is continuing her studies at the Academy of Music Ljubljana in the class of Matej Zupan. Alenka regularly performs with the Münchener Symphonikern, Münchner Kammerphilharmonie DaCapo, Regensburg Philharmonie, Munich Classical Players, among others. As a soloist, she has performed with the Slovenian Philharmonic String Chamber Orchestra, Arte Solidale Festival Orchestra, and Crescendo Orchestra. She has received first prizes at several international flute competitions and has been an artist in residence at the Chamber music festival Arte Solidale in Italy for the last three years. Additionally, Alenka regularly gives recitals across Europe with her duo partner, pianist Danilo Mascetti.
