Leogang and Fieberbrunn are much quieter. All four villages also have plenty of activities besides eating, drinking and dancing for non-skiers, including sledging, winter walking, and ice-skating.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<div class=\"jumplinks\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><a title=\"Apres Ski Bars &amp; Nightlife in Saalbach Hinterglemm\u00a0\" href=\"#section-apres-ski-bars-nightlife-in-saalbach-hinterglemm%c2%a0-2\">Apres Ski, Bars, Restaurants &amp; Nightlife in Saalbach<\/a><\/li>\r\n<li><a title=\"Other Activities in Saalbach Hinterglemm\" href=\"#section-other-activities-in-saalbach-hinterglemm-4\">Other Activities in Saalbach<\/a><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 id=\"section-apres-ski-bars-nightlife-in-saalbach-hinterglemm%c2%a0-2\">Apres Ski, Bars, Restaurants &amp; Nightlife in Saalbach<\/h2>\r\n<h3>Apres-Ski Bars<\/h3>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saalbach and Hinterglemm have a lively apres-ski scene which starts on the slopes above the two villages where there are dozens of bars, including:<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goasstall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Der\u00a0Goa\u00dfstall\u00a0<\/a>(Hinterglemm)<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hinterhag-alm.at\/apres-ski\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hinterhag Alm<\/a> (Saalbach)<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bauers-schialm.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bauer\u2019s Schi-Alm<\/a> (Saalbach)<\/p>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.walleggalm.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Wallegalm<\/a> (Hinterglemm)<\/p>\r\n<p>Apres-ski in Leogang and Fieberbrunn is relatively tame. You can have a relaxing drink in the mountain restaurants above the resorts as the lifts close, and perhaps another one at the foot of the slopes, and sometimes there will be music playing, but there is very little of the outright hedonism that Saalbach is famous for.<\/p>\r\n<h3>Restaurants and nightlife<\/h3>\r\n<p>There are over 50 restaurants in Saalbach and Hinterglemm, catering for almost every need and budget, from fine gourmet meals to pizzas and burgers. Afterwards there are dozens of bars in the two resorts, ranging from sports bars to British and Irish pubs to live music venues. There are also proper clubs for those who want to dance until dawn.<\/p>\r\n<p>There are good restaurants in both Leogang and Fieberbrunn but not as much choice as in Saalbach and Hinterglemm. In Fieberbrunn, for a different kind of night out, you can arrange to have an evening meal in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ferchlstadl.at\/\">Alpengasthof Ferchlstadl<\/a> on the slopes above the resort. If you want to try a different type of skiing, there are also very good Nordic skiing circuits. For adrenalin-junkies, there\u2019s paragliding, snowmobiling and an ice-karting track. (c) Klaus-Listl.<\/em><\/p><\/div>\r\n<p>Fieberbrunn has perhaps the best non-ski activity on the slopes for kids, and many would say for adults too: a ride on Timok\u2019s Coaster. This is a roller-coaster located near the Streuboden lift mid-station. You control the speed, so if you want to hurtle around the bends, you can; but if you want to glide gently down the mountain, that&#8217;s possible too.
