Given the size of Champery, you\u2019re never going to be more than 10 to 15 minutes&#8217; walk of the Telepherique. There are also a few slopeside options up the mountain and by the Grand Paradis chairlift on the edge of the resort. And there is lots more ski-in, ski-out accommodation in the neighbouring purpose-built hamlet of Les Crosets.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"jumplinks\">\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Hotels and Apartments in Champery\" href=\"#section-hotels-and-apartments-in-champery-1\">Hotels and Apartments in Champery<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Hotels and Apartments in Les Closets\" href=\"#section-hotels-and-apartments-in-les-closets-2\">Hotels and Apartments in Les Closets<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Chalets in Les Crosets\" href=\"#section-chalets-in-les-crosets-3\">Chalets in Les Crosets<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"section-hotels-and-apartments-in-champery-1\">Hotels and Apartments in Champery<\/h2>\n<p>Most of the hotels in Champery are on the main street\u00a0 (&#8220;Rue du Village&#8221;) including the elegant and highly rated 4-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/le-national.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel National<\/a> which dates back to the 19th century. It&#8217;s about a 5 minute walk from both the cable car and the train station and has all the mod-cons you would expect from a luxury hotel. The nearby 4-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/lifestyle-rooms-amp-suites-by-beau-sejour.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel and Lifestyle Rooms Beau Sejour<\/a>, is less opulent (it&#8217;s sometimes graded as a 3-star) and more of a boutique. One down from these in price, but also on the central Rue du Village, are the 3 star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/gthotelsuisse.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel Susse<\/a> and the even cheaper but more basic 2-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/hoteldesalpeschampery.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel des Alpes<\/a>. Both are rated as &#8216;superb&#8217; or better by the vast majority of their guests.<\/p>\n<p>Near the railway station but further from the centre of the village and the cable car (about 10 to 15 mins walk away but there is\u00a0 a ski bus stop within 50m if you don&#8217;t fancy the exercise) is another 4-star, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/le-white.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel Le White<\/a>. It too gets very high ratings from previous customers.<\/p>\n<p>For keen skiers and snowboarders, two slopeside guesthouses on the edge of the resort are worth mentioning. The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/auberge-du-grand-paradis.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Guest House du Grand Paradis<\/a> is next to the Grand Paradis chair-lift just outside Champery. In good snow conditions you can ski back to it.\u00a0 Or if you want somewhere with even quicker access onto the slopes, but very limited nightlife, you can stay stay up the mountain at Planchaux at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/le-plain-ciel.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel Plein Ciel<\/a>. The only way in and out is by cable car.<\/p>\n<p>If you want something that is a cross between self-catering and a hotel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/the-lodge-by-mrs-miggins-champery.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Lodge by Mrs Miggins <\/a>is quite rightly classified as an ApartHotel. You can cook all your meals yourself or use the Mrs Miggins team to help with food deliveries. It&#8217;s just off the Rue du Village and within 5 minutes walk of the lift. It&#8217;s also close to the Palladium Sports Centre which has an indoor swimming pool and ice rink.\u00a0 You can also stay in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/palladium-de-champery.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Palladium<\/a> itself because there are rooms to rent above the sports centre and there is a small restaurant as well. Next door (so very handy for the Palladium&#8217;s restaurant and sports facilities as well as the cable car) is the 4 bedroom self-catered apartment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/chalet-des-amis.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chalet des Amis<\/a>. The Mrs Miggins team also run the 5 star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/chalet-les-renards-by-mrs-miggins.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chalet les Renards<\/a> (split into two 4-bedroom self-catered apartments) and the 4-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/residence-en-soleil.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chalet Soleil <\/a>(2 bedroom and 5 bedroom apartments).\u00a0 These are all within about 5 minutes walk of the lifts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/city\/ch\/champery.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Search all accommodations in Champery and book online &gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"section-hotels-and-apartments-in-les-closets-2\">Hotels and Apartments in Les Closets<\/h2>\n<p>Les Crosets lacks Champery&#8217;s charm and good looks, but it is one of the main crossroads on the central circuit of the\u00a0 the Portes du Soleil, and almost all the accommodation is ski-in, ski-out, so it can not be faulted for convenience.<\/p>\n<p>The 4-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/moutain-lodge.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mountain Lodge<\/a>\u00a0 has ski to the door access. Inside there is a spa with a hot tub with mountain views, a sauna, a Hammam and a small gym. In the evenings the hotel has its own small cinema plus a games room with billiards, computer games and DVDs. About 50% of the guests come from the UK, and the Lodge welcomes weekend visitors as well as guests staying a full week.<\/p>\n<p>The nearby 3-star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/l-etable.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hotel l\u2019Etable <\/a>is more basic but just as highly rated by previous guests.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/ch\/le-marcheuson.en-gb.html?aid=318396\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Le Marcheuson<\/a> in Les Crosets does not have any official stars but it&#8217;s very popular and previous guest give it good reviews.
